Job Summary

This role involves planning and executing various Botanical Center generated and focused events, from conferences to promotional events, aligning them with the Center’s overall marketing goals. The manager is responsible for crafting events that effectively communicate the brand’s message, engage the target audience, and generate leads.

We are looking for an innovative and dynamic Events Supervisor II to lead our events and marketing initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall success of Botanical Center sponsored and hosted events, leveraging your marketing skills to make each event a memorable experience. You will be the onsite event representative and assist in managing vendor relationships, . Collaborating closely with internal teams, you will ensure that our events align with our marketing goals. This role is perfect for a creative marketer with a flair for event planning and a passion for building brand presence through events.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Event Supervision
    • Oversee the planning, organizing and execution of Botanical Center events to be in alignment with established guidelines and policies.
    • Supervise the coordination of event logistics, including particulars such as:  setup, registration, and scheduling.
  2. Staff Supervision:
    • Lead a team of Botanical Center event staff to ensure an excellent experience for attendees.
    • Create and post staffing schedules
    • Provide clear instructions, delegate tasks, and ensure efficient event flow.
  3. Event Planning and Execution:
    • Orchestrating all aspects of marketing events, from initial planning to post-event analysis.
    • Collaborating closely with vendors and organizers to ensure seamless execution.
    • Managing collateral creation and overseeing on-site event management.
  4. Marketing Materials:
    • Designing marketing and promotional materials specific to each event.
    • Ensuring that event materials align with the company’s branding and marketing objectives.
  5. Brand Communication:
    • Crafting events that effectively communicate the brand’s message and values.
    • Engaging the target audience through memorable and impactful experiences.
  6. Budget Management:
    • Managing event budgets, ensuring cost-effective execution.
    • Tracking expenses and optimizing resource allocation.
  7. Vendor and Attendee Relationships:
    • Building and maintaining positive relationships with vendors, organizers, and attendees.
    • Providing excellent customer service during events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related discipline.
  • At least 1 year of related marketing experience, ideally in event marketing, demand generation, or sales enablement.
  • Proven experience carrying out event marketing efforts, including trade show planning, attendance, and reporting.
